VIČI flavours at the Lithuanian Embassy in Paris: nearly 1,000 visitors and warm feedback
At the European Heritage Days event held at the Lithuanian Embassy in Paris, visitors had the opportunity to discover Lithuania and sample a wide variety of VIČI flavours.
At the event, which welcomed nearly 1,000 visitors, Vičiūnai Group offered surimi, herring and salmon products for tasting, along with "Gyoza", which received particularly enthusiastic praise.
Discovering Lithuania through culture and gastronomy
To mark European Heritage Days, the Lithuanian Embassy in Paris opened its doors to visitors for the seventh consecutive year. This year, guests could explore an exhibition dedicated to Lithuanian screen-printing master Mikalojus Povilas Vilutis, discover works by Lithuanian interior design brands, speak with the Embassy team about Lithuanian culture and travel destinations, and sample Lithuanian products.
Visitors could also explore the Embassy building itself: the former residence of composer Ernest Chausson, whose interiors were decorated by artists Maurice Denis and Odilon Redon.
Vičiūnai Group received the invitation to contribute to the event through LITFOOD in August. The initiative, aimed at Lithuanian food producers, marked the Group’s first collaboration with the Lithuanian Embassy in Paris. VIČI products complemented the event’s gastronomic programme, while Embassy representatives told guests that they could purchase them at E.Leclerc stores in France.
Gyoza receive the most praise
After the event, we received a warm thank-you letter from the Embassy team. They shared that VIČI products had attracted considerable interest: visitors sampled the products, wanted to learn more and asked questions. "Gyoza" were particularly popular, earning praise from both visitors and the Embassy team.
Discovering products through taste helps build connections with consumers and encourages them to explore products available in local stores. The Embassy team appreciated Vičiūnai Group’s contribution and expressed an interest in collaborating again in the future.
