Thanks to the support of the Vičiūnai Group – new equipment for the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic
The Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic of LSMU Kaunas has received a special donation of medical equipment from UAB Vičiūnai Group – a cordless Acculan 4 dermatome and a skin perforator with accessories.
This equipment will be used to treat patients who have
suffered burns or injuries and require skin grafting procedures to restore skin
integrity and accelerate healing.
The modern technological equipment will enable the clinic’s doctors to perform
complex surgical procedures with greater precision, speed, and safety,
contributing to higher-quality treatment and more effective recovery outcomes.
“We are truly grateful for this significant support. It will help our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic to apply modern treatment technologies more broadly and allow patients to recover faster and return to their normal lives,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tomas Lapinskas, Director for Public Health, Science and Studies at Kaunas Clinics.
