A Successful Debut in Amsterdam: “Vičiūnai Group” Participates in the PLMA Trade Show for the First Time
The international PLMA “World of Private Label” trade show, held in Amsterdam on May 20–21, 2025, is one of the world’s largest platforms dedicated to private label products. Each year, it brings together thousands of manufacturers, retailers, and buyers from more than 125 countries.
This year’s exhibition placed special emphasis on innovative solutions, new market trends, and first-time participants. Among them was Vičiūnai Group, which presented its stand at this international event for the first time.
A Significant Step Into the Global Market
Participation in PLMA marks another important milestone for Vičiūnai Group as it strengthens its presence in the international marketplace. Well known in Lithuania and Europe for its high-quality fish products, the company is now actively entering the global private label segment.
At the PLMA exhibition, visitors to the Vičiūnai Group stand were able to explore a wide assortment of fish products made using cutting-edge technologies, as well as solutions tailored for individual private brands. The stand reflected the company’s commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainability.
The Viči stand showcased exceptional seafood products such as surimi sticks, shrimp, mackerel, salmon with truffles, as well as Asian cuisine gems – gyoza and Korean-style dumplings, Xiao Long Bao, and khinkali with meat and habanero peppers. In addition, visitors could sample innovative snacks from the Food Luck line and delicacies inspired by authentic world cuisine recipes.
What Does PLMA 2025 Offer?
More than 3,000 manufacturers from 75 countries participated in PLMA 2025. The exhibition featured both food and non-food products—from fresh and frozen goods to household items, cosmetics, and pet care products. The event is organized into thematic sectors so visitors can easily navigate the categories that interest them.
One of the key highlights of the exhibition is the Idea Supermarket®, showcasing cutting-edge retail trends, along with the New Product Expo, where attendees can explore the latest products and solutions.
